The Wheel of Brown

January marks the 1 year anniversary of this project and we want to give a quick thank you to everyone who has participated in the last year! The goal of this project is to combat colorism. We want to give our followers a place to share their experiences with colorism and advocate for others. This week’s participant is Nithya Mullapudi and she is a freshman at Indiana University. Her parents are from Vijayawada and Vatluru. We asked Nithya to describe her experience(s) with colorism and how she thinks the South Asian community can be more inclusive when it comes to colorism.
